Rule numbers no longer displayed in error messages?

Sep 12, 2012 at 9:43 AM

We've just upgraded to StyleCop 4.7 and have noticed it no longer seems to display the rule numbers in the build error messages, e.g. "SA1010".

We found this really useful for tracking down specific rules, either to look them up in the help file or disable/enable them in the settings file.

Does anyone know if it is possible to re-enable this?

I've spotted this yesterday.
Will be fixed in next release.

Is this from visual studio right click run stylecop, ReSharper integration, code analysis from visual studio, cmd line stylecoptask or a csproj file importing the stylecop targets?

It's a csproj file importing StyleCop targets.
