Is there any forum where we get the answer. I see that people left comments here only. Anyway what is this parituclar instruction for. I need to download the style cop and set the rules only. Do i have to follow above instruction?

StyleCop Governance

Microsoft has turned over governance and coordination of the StyleCop project to the community. The new Coordinator of this project is responsible for managing contributions. Microsoft is not granting any IP rights to code or other material contributed to this project by third parties. The IP rights to each particular contribution are granted to you by the respective contributor under the Ms-PL license.

Project Description

StyleCop analyzes C# source code to enforce a set of style and consistency rules. It can be run from inside of Visual Studio or integrated into an MSBuild project. StyleCop has also been integrated into many third-party development tools.

Hi, I download the stylecop-8b3831e38d66.zip file from SOURCE CODE->download. when I run VerifyBuild.cmd, the error MSB4126 occur. I check the VerifyBuild.cmd file, it need 9 parameters. Can you tell me how to set it. thanks.

Running analysis on a mapped drive

If you are trying to analyse a project, solution or files on a mapped network drive you may get StyleCop reporting "No violations encountered" (e.g., ClearCase dynamic view).

If this is the case then you may need to add the following to your %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\msbuild.exe.config file:

hi... i'm get follow error when run VerifyBuild.cmd: error MSB4126: The specified solution configuration "Debug.NoReSharper|BWS" is invalid. i tested that on 2 last releases thanks in advance.
