Hi everyone!

I would like to work with VS2015 + ReSharper 10.0 + StyleCop, all at their current builds.
Also, i would like to modify the global settings (settings.stylecop).

Which configuration should i use:

A. StyleCop.msi (standalone)
B. StyleCop for ReSharper (resharper extension)
C. ReSharper.StyleCop (resharper extension)

This is one of the two things I still need to get done for the next StyleCop release.

Right now I think you will need to use the StyleCop 4.7.49 msi along with the "StyleCop by JetBrains" ReSharper plug-in.

Thanks for the help!

The MSI and the plug-in each have their own settings.stylecop file, which one will be applied in VS2015?
Is it possible to edit one of them and just copy&paste it to the other location, or will that cause problems?

I have already installed StyleCop 4.7.51 msi, should i remove it and install the older one?

Thanks again.

FYI I just released v4.7.52, along with "StyleCop for ReSharper" extensions for ReSharper 9 and 10 (which can be installed via the ReSharper gallery).

You will need to uninstall any existing versions you have installed, then install StyleCop 4.7.52, then install the extension from the ReSharper gallery.

Is it also compatible with resharper 2016.1?

Not yet.
